And this is how I ended up in Siena:
I am sure that if you're reading this, that you know a little about who I am, where I came from, and what it is I like to do. But in the chance that you might have just been doing some intense social media creeping and just landed on my page at random, let me tell you a little about myself. So here we go...
I am a junior at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio (about 15 minutes outside of Cleveland.) I'm a music education major with a vocal primary and am a student at the Conservatory of Music at BW. I absolutely love my school and everything about it. I'm so grateful for the learning, growth, and experiences that I've had by being a student at BW.
One of the countless opportunities that BW has offered is the chance to study abroad, so I jumped at the chance to spend time in another country. "So how did you decide to spend four months in Italy?" you may ask. Well, I didn't have much of a choice to start out with. Only three colleges offered the classes that I needed to graduate on time (one in London, another in Vienna, and Siena of course). After weighing my options, I decided that Siena was the place for me. And it's funny that if I had the choice to study abroad anywhere in any program available, I still would have picked Siena, Italy. The classes offered, the fact that we live in a house with an Italian family, the courses available, the authenticity of the city, THE FOOD AND WINE, the culture and beauty of this beautiful country make this the perfect place to spend four months.
So there you have it! I hope you enjoy reading my blog, asking me questions or simply creeping from afar. Thanks for being interested in my amazing journey. Ciao for now!
